The Science on Aronia
antioxidants
Antioxidants are found in foods including fruits & vegetables and may prevent or delay some types of cell damage and promote normal cell replication. The aronia berry is known as the antioxidant leader and far surpasses prized superfruits such as açaí berries, pomegranates and blueberries.

anthocyanins
Anthocyanins are water soluble pigments that give aronia berries their signature purple, maroon pigment. Anthocyanin flavonoids have demonstrated the ability to protect against a myriad of human diseases and may offer anti-inflammatory benefits. Aronia berries are shown to contain more anthocyanins compared to other fruits and vegetables including cherries, blueberries and açaí berries.

Science in the Field

From the field we use organic agricultural science to evaluate crops for optimized plant health and precise harvesting in order to allow for maximum nutrient value and flavor.
Ingredient Science

Each ingredient is manufactured to specific specifications which allow for maximum nutrient retention, flavor and quality. Furthermore, each of our ingredients is tested via FDA food screens with accompanying spec sheets for quality assurance and complete transparency.
GAP Testing (Good Agricultural Practices)

Each batch of aronia berries is evaluated through third party testing before advancing to ingredient manufacturing. Our detailed processes ensure no unwanted impurities or pathogens.
Advanced Partnerships

Through our in-house research and advanced University partnerships we are dedicated to creating advanced aronia berry formulas that feature science based nutrient profiles, organoleptic flavor profiles, texture and taste to assure finished products that leave customers happy & healthy.
